Which cookies we use, what for, and how to refuse them. Only a few, and none for advertising. If you have questions, write to hola@traducore.com.
What a cookie is
A small file the website stores in your browser to remember something from one page to the next: that you are signed in, the language you chose or whether you accepted analytics.
Necessary cookies
Without them the website or your customer area won’t work, so they don’t need your permission.
| Cookie | What for | Duration |
|---|---|---|
tc_consentimiento | Remember whether you accepted or refused analytics. | 180 days |
pll_language | Remember the website language. | 1 year |
tc_sesion | Keep you signed in to the customer area. | 30 days |
tc_idioma | Remember the customer area language. | 1 year |
tc_alta | Finish a sign-up you left halfway. | 24 hours |
tc_ref | Remember a friend’s invitation link so that you both get your minutes. | 30 days |
Analytics cookies
They tell us how visitors arrive and which pages are useful, so we can improve the website. They store nothing about your conversations or what you translate.
| Cookie | Set by | What for | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
_ga, _ga_* | Google Analytics | Tell visits and sessions apart, statistically. | 2 years |
tc_origen | Traducore | Remember which channel you came from (an ad, a search engine, a link). If you sign up, it is noted in your account. | 90 days |
tc_evento | Traducore | Carry a sign-up step to the next page so it can be measured. | 2 minutes |
Google Analytics may process data outside the European Union, under the safeguards of the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
How to decide
Analytics is active from the moment you arrive. You’ll see a notice to accept or refuse it, and refusing takes one click, just like accepting. You can change your mind at any time from the «Cookie settings» link in the website footer. If you refuse analytics, we delete those cookies and stop measuring your visit.
You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings. If you block the necessary ones, you won’t be able to sign in to the customer area.
Who processes this data
The data controller is Xavier Sánchez Tolsà, Spanish tax ID (NIF) 48602844A, with address at Calle Málaga, 22, Urbanización Nova Maravisa, 46185 La Pobla de Vallbona (Valencia, Spain) and contact email hola@traducore.com. There is more detail in the privacy policy.
