The terms under which you buy Traducore, explained without small print. You accept them when you create your account or buy a plan. If anything is unclear, write to hola@traducore.com before you pay.
1. Who provides the service
Traducore is a service of Xavier Sánchez Tolsà, Spanish tax ID (NIF) 48602844A, a self-employed professional, with address at Calle Málaga, 22, Urbanización Nova Maravisa, 46185 La Pobla de Vallbona (Valencia, Spain). Contact email: hola@traducore.com.
2. What you are buying
Traducore is a program for Windows 10 and 11 that translates, in real time, the audio playing on your computer and, with conversation turned on, your own voice for the other person. Translation runs on our servers, so you need an internet connection.
It is machine translation powered by artificial intelligence: it arrives a few seconds after what is said and may contain mistakes, especially with names, figures or poor-quality audio. It does not replace a professional interpreter where an error could have serious consequences (medical, legal or safety-related).
3. Your account
- You must be of legal age, or have your parents’ or guardians’ permission, to create an account.
- Your account is personal: don’t share it. You can be signed in on several computers, but translation runs on one at a time.
- You are responsible for your password. If you think someone knows it, change it or sign out of all sessions from your customer area.
4. Plans and prices
- Free plan: 15 minutes of translation a day, no card. They top up when you sign in once 24 hours have passed since the last top-up.
- Paid plans: monthly subscriptions with a number of hours per month. Hours you don’t use do not roll over to the next month.
- Hour packs: a one-off payment for 5 hours, only with an active paid plan of the same type (Video or Conversation). They never expire; if you cancel your subscription they are frozen until you have a paid plan again.
- Current prices are on the Pricing page and include VAT.
- The time the translation is running is deducted, whether anyone is speaking or not.
5. Payment, renewal and cancellation
- Payments are processed by Stripe; your card details never reach our servers.
- Subscriptions renew automatically every month on the same date and are charged in advance, until you cancel them.
- You can cancel at any time from your customer area, under «Invoices». Cancellation takes effect at the end of the month you have already paid for: until then you keep your hours.
- If you change plan mid-month, the charge and your hours are adjusted in proportion to what is left of the month.
- If a payment fails, Stripe retries it for a few days. If it still can’t be collected, the subscription is cancelled.
- Your invoices are always available in your customer area.
6. Right of withdrawal
As a consumer, you have 14 calendar days from buying a plan or a pack to withdraw from the contract, without giving any reason.
When you buy, you expressly ask us to start the service immediately, so you can use your hours straight away. So if you withdraw within those 14 days, we refund what you paid minus the proportional part of the service you have already used, calculated from the hours used over the hours bought. If you haven’t used any hours, you get a full refund.
To withdraw, write to hola@traducore.com from your account’s email address saying that you wish to withdraw from the contract. You may use the model form below if you like. We will refund the amount within 14 days at the latest, using the same payment method you used.
After the 14 days, periods that have already started are not refunded, except as set out in the next point.
7. Time refunded if the service fails
If a session is cut short by a fault on our side, we automatically return that time to your balance, up to 60 minutes per session and 2 hours per day. If you think you lost more, write to us and we’ll look into it.
8. Acceptable use
You agree to use Traducore lawfully and, in particular, not to:
- use it for unlawful purposes or in breach of anyone else’s rights;
- share, resell or transfer your account or your hours;
- try to access our servers or translation engines other than through the program, or decompile or modify it;
- deliberately overload the service.
Traducore does not record or keep what is translated. Even so, where the law requires it in your case, you are responsible for telling other people that you are using a translator.
If you breach these terms we may suspend or close your account, warning you beforehand unless the breach is serious.
9. Availability and changes
We work to keep the service available at all times, but there may be interruptions for maintenance, provider failures or causes beyond our control. We may improve or change the program and the service over time.
If we change these terms or our prices, we will email you at least 30 days in advance. If you don’t agree, you can cancel before the change applies. Price changes never affect a month you have already paid for.
10. Liability
We are responsible for providing the service with due care. We are not liable for damage arising from machine translation errors or from decisions based on them, or from interruptions beyond our control. Nothing here limits your statutory rights as a consumer.
11. Personal data
How we handle your data is explained in Privacy and, for cookies, in the Cookie policy.
12. End of the contract
You can delete your account at any time from the customer area; doing so also cancels your subscription. Any remaining hours, including pack hours, are lost when the account is deleted.
13. Governing law and complaints
These terms are governed by Spanish law. If you have a complaint, please write to hola@traducore.com first: we reply within 24 working hours. If you are a consumer, you may go to the courts of your place of residence and to the consumer protection services where you live.
